How to kill a warrior as E/Mo?
Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the game.
I have a lvl 15 E/Mo.
I've noticed that warriors are extremely hard to kill, espeically the ones with uber armor and monk secondary.
my 11-13dmg wand does 0 dmg to them and my spells only do 1/3 the rated dmg. for example my lightning strike is rated at 32 dmg or something like that but actually only hits for 11dmg.
I'm not complaining about this as i'm sure there's things about this game I do not know or realize, so I hope someone can give me some pointers on how to deal with warriors.

This seems to be for an Arena context, so I'll treat it as that.
Since you are using air magic, put as many points as you can into it. Use a superior rune if you can. In arena, people rarely remove your enchantments, and warriors especially have a difficulty with this. Therefore, you can get away with using elemental attunement+air attunement, and then use blinding flash to disable them. Follow that with a rain of air spells like lightning orb, chain lightning, and lightning strike for one serving of warrior, extra crispy.

Being a War/Nec with Dragon Armor, I notice quite a hefty resistance to those armor piercing spells. Though no way will I survive 3+ eles electrocuting me, I can shrug off one and dump his blind/weakness onto an enemy nearby.
But if you want to stuff a warrior, Air is the way to go with Water / Earth a close second. Blinding Flash + Enervating Charge with Air attunement/Ele Attunement pretty much makes a Warrior impotent. If his monk removes both conditions, their recharge times aren't too long so it can be used again. Or heck, since warriors move in trains to maximize dps, use Glimmering Mark on the dude/gal in the middle and just bolt them to heck.
Water/Earth would come in second due to both magic lines possessing an enchant armor of some sort AND the ever popular Snare. Warrior's that can't run can't fight. Plain and simple.

Also depend on their focus of attention and how many warriors there are in addition to the general intellegence level. Meteor shower gives alot of hate to anything that wants to be static, meteor is nice for tight clumps, like many warrior groups make, as are fireball and phoenix. The knockdown is really the nice part combined with the aoe, but elementalist have alot of tools to deal with them. I think what you are feeling is that you are fighting against people who have skills and gear not suited for the arena you are in. Once you get to post ascention some things change.

iron mist + lightning damage ftw
iron mist is a hex from the earth line, so grab ward v melee as well, then use grasping earth to stack hexes or just to fill the gap between recharge, the rest can be enervating, blinding, orb, strike, youve still got room for your 2 attunements there.
although in 4v4 i really get annoyed when people dont bring res sig or some equivalent.

Enervating charge would be the first thing that comes to mind. It does similar damage to lightning strike but also causes weakness which reduces damage by I believe 66%. Iron mist could be a very good snare but only in a solo 1v1 situation. Ward of Melee would be good if your secondary line was earth seeing as how it can effect any amount of warriors that are near you. Blinding Flash is ok but at 15 energy I would rather use the alternatives.
So try...
Lightning Strike
Lightning Javelin (Disrupt skills)
Lightning Orb
Enervating Charge
Air Attunement
Ward against Melee
Earth Attunement
Res Signet
Now the problem will be how to survive against other aeromancers with more spike damage...

You know what? I think that may be it. I noticed that there are the regular lvl 15 warriors, then there are the uber warriors. They must be using super armor passed down from a lvl 20 buddy or something.

ain't that the truth!! It wasn't so bad in asc arena but in Shiv, wow. Just finishing up there and almost to Lion's, so we'll see what lies ahead. I imagine more of the same but hopefully more people who 'get it' as far as how to play like a group.
I just look at it like this: Most of those people with tricked-out gear and uber skills who like to hang out in Shiv or Asc arenas will remain there. You won't see them in the tougher places because they really aren't good pvp'ers.
